I read on my contract about the liability insurance for all vendors. Does anyone know how strict the East Wind is with this?
What if a vendor doesn't have insurance? Is there a waiver they can sign? I
have a string quartet that I'm wondering about but haven't signed with them yet.
UPDATE: I spoke to the East Wind and they basically said that the vendor that doesn't have insurance would have to sign a waiver. woohoo...I don't have to worry about it!

Re: East Wind Contract question re: vendors
i know that with all the RH's we looked at including ours, they required insurance and were very clear about the vendor NOT being allowed on their property without something that shows they are insured...but it was also explained that all vendors are aware of this and it is a very common practice

Re: East Wind Contract question re: vendors
Most vendors have their own insurance so you don't have to use EW's house vendors. We didn't use any of their house vendors- all of our people sent in their insurance information- it really isn't as difficult as they may explain- it's really the norm for the vendors to do so.
