East Wind Girls - Directions

East Wind Girls - Directions

just curious:

Will you be including directions from the east and the west?
Most of my guests are coming from the west and I figure the few people that live in the east know how to get to Eastwind.

Will you be including directions from Sunrise highway as well as the LIE?

How is this for directions?
To East Wind from the Long Island Expressway:
Take LIE to exit 68 (William Floyd Parkway) and follow signs that read 46/Wading River North for approximately seven miles to end. Make a right on 25A and continue three and one quarter miles (3 ¼ mi.) east to East Wind on your left. Follow signs for The Estate.

Estate girls: I've heard many complaints that guests at other Estate weddings were confused because 'The Estate' wasn't mentioned on the invitation. have you heard the same thing?
I'm making sure to mention 'The Estate' in our invitation/directions - or Candice you may have some extra guests at your wedding!

I think directions from the west only is fine. I am including from LIE only. I think it will work out ok.

I copied the directions right off their website:

From the West
Take LIE east to exit 68 (Wm. Floyd Pkwy) and follow signs that read 46/Wading River North for approximately seven miles to end. Make a right on 25A and continue three and one quarter miles (3 ¼ mi.) east to East Wind on your left.

From the East
Take Sunrise Highway West to Exit 65 (Rte 24) North to Riverhead Traffic Circle. Make a quick right onto Peconic Avenue and make a left at the light on to Route 25 . Head west for approximately eight miles and turn right onto Route 25A heading West. Exit to Rte 25A (on your right) continue 1.8 miles to East Wind on your right. From the North fork take Sound Ave West to East Wind Dr. on your left.

And definitely include the name of your building on the invite because its easy for people to get confused

I actually needed this information last week and the East Wind has direction cards made up already and it specifies what building you are in!

Did anyone ever see them yet?

I had sent out the directions from east wind with my STD however i dont like how they look. So for the wedding invites i will just make something up on the computer i think.

We are getting married in the northampton so its on the other side of the INN but i want my guest to go in through the northampton side. hehehehe wow do i make any sence? hehehehe.

They just were not 'nice looking' flimsy paper and just did not go at all. So I could do a little DIY project with making my own to match the invites. Plus i want to make sure the guest go to just the northampton and dont get confused.

EDIT:
This is all my opinion. I did send the direction sheets out just with my STD not the actual invitations. I am very picky when it comes to things this was just one of them. But they are not bad to a point where you could not send them out
