I am searching for a reception hall. Me n my fi went to the east wind today and fell in love from the moment we walked in! we loved everything about it. I'm a little nervous about actually booking this place since we just started looking 2 weeks ago. Does anyone have any advice or been to it we were thinking about having it in the Estate. Thanks!!

Re: East Wind question
I am having my reception there! We are at the inn because we originally didn't have the min number of people. The food is great. I went to a wedding at the estate a few years ago and it was great. I had so much fun. I love that out of towners can stay at the inn. They have been great so far!

Re: East Wind question
We are getting married at the Estate, and are very excited. Every experience has been amazing, so far.
My only advice - before you book your weekend, make sure they have enough rooms available for your group. We booked ours the weekend that a big company has a Christmas party, and there were only 15 rooms available. We didn't find out until after we booked. It worked out - we are using a place in Riverhead (only 7 minutes away) for everyone else. Just look into it.

i looove the estate!! that was the best wedding I have EVER been to! It's the most beautiful room & I love the windows where the bride & groom sit. This was one my #1 choices but we didn't have enough people for it but OMG it's gorgeous!!

Re: East Wind question
I've only been to 1 wedding there and it was probably about 6 years ago. It was in the upstairs room near the staircase. The CH was down that stair case. I remember it being really great! Lots of food & the VH in the separate room was deeeelish!!!! Aaaall kinds of desserts & belgian waffles, etc. I was only around 19 so I don't remember too many specifics, being that I wasn't thinking of marriage any time soon. Sorry I can't be more help!

Re: East Wind question
I went to a wedding there in June and it was absolutely perfect! My FH and I only looked at 2 halls, so don't feel like you need to look at a bunch. If you find the one you love, go with it!

Re: East Wind question
We booked the Estate To be honest with you, it was the only place I looked at. I have been to a ton of weddings all over and my mom was actually remarried last year at Country Gardens. The food was great and the service was awesome. I loved the Estate so I figured why go anywhere else?? Good luck making your decision!

I had mine at the Estate! I have tons of pics of it and you can see my trailer...
I had my wedding at the Inn. I can tell you that the service they give leading to the wedding and on the day of is nothing but FANTASTIC.
The food was incredible. The guest that blocked rooms (11 rooms) were so happy with the way that they were taken care of. We had a perfect day and they took care of EVERYTHING!!! John M was the person I booked my wedding throught there and he made me feel like a Queen from the moment I walked in their doors!
