Easter...

Easter...

What do you do about 'gift-giving'...Mostly to the kids of course...But big baskets are a waste, I think...The kids nowadays have so many toys and eat too much candy as it is...

What does everyone do? I know EIGHT kids I have to do something for...

I was thinking of putting 5-10 bucks in a card and be done with it...

Movie baskets - $5 blockbuster card (1 rental) and a box of candy, IN a tub of popcorn.

great gift!

IMO...it really depends on the kid and their age...BUT imo...easter is not complete without the candy: jellybeans, Cadbury eggs, and a chocolate bunny ets...

I agree...But GOD BLESS THEM, between parents, the Easter Bunny, grandparents, they really don't need me adding to their chocolate piles...

That's VERY cute for the older kids (age 9, and maybe the two six year olds)

I am still doing the candy for Easter, but started doing $5 in a card for other holidays (halloween, V-Day, etc.) Someimes for the little ones, I will do a goodie bags with bubbles and fun stuff I find at Party City - flashing rings, cards, whatever For Halloween last year, I got them all flashlight sets to trick or treat with

I agree with you and dpli. Im a phys ed teacher and you would not believe all the overweight children I have. IMO candy is fine at Easter but there should be a limit. Since their families will already be supplying the chocolate I like the idea of bubbles and a few gifts from party city or something. They love that stuff
