Re: Easter Desserts

it's probably too late to get one, but i used to make a cake shaped like a bunny with a pan i bought at michael's. I would frost the whole thing with cook whip, buy the easter colored peanum m&m and brown icing for whiskers. so cute!

my mom made easter basket cupcakes when we were kids.

easy to make..

just make a batch of cupcakes.

to decorate:

she would frost them,
then add green food coloring to shredded coconut and sprinkle it on top.
then put jelly beans/ or m& ms.

I made something that has NOTHING to do with easter. I made peanut butter cookies with peanut butter filled chocolate kisses in the middle! Bringing them to my mom's house today. And then making another batch tomorrow to bring to FH's families tomorrow.

I love baking but I'm not so sure I could pull off making an easter bunny cake. You ladies are definitely talented!

Re: Easter Desserts

I bake vanilla or funfetti cupcakes, and make a strawberry marscapone or fruit flavored frosting - and insert the fruit flavored filling into the cupcakes and frost as usualt and decorate!

-Prepare basic brownie mix as directed on package; pour batter evenly into springform pan
-Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes
-Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.

I'm making a cheesecake, but if anyone had a recipe for that Italian Egg bread, I love that stuff. My best friend's Mom used to make that when we were little.
