Looking for a church that will perform a wedding ceremony on Easter Saturday, booked a date already, not knowing that it was the Saturday before Easter and most churches won't perform wedding on that day :( (for 2011). Pls help!

Thats a tough one. You may have to do your ceremony very early in the morning or get married at the RH.

I'm not so sure about that. That's holy saturday, and i know for a fact my church doesn't do weddings on holy saturday

It's an afternoon wedding, so the ceremony is going to be in the morning anyways. My FH and family insists on having a church ceremony

I am 99.9 % sure that a catholic church won't marry you on holy saturday.
Maybe you can convince your FH and his family to get married at the RH

That's true - the Catholic Church will not do weddings during Holy Week.

sorry I don't think that the RC will do a ceremony on holy saturday. Sorry I'm not much help I'm getting married the same day as you, but we're doing it at the RH.

You may want to find an non denominational church for that date. There is no way a Catholic church will marry you that Saturday. I am a Saturday during Lent and was almost denied a Saturday wedding 2 weeks before Easter. I was so nervous.
