Hi Girls... I went to the bridalshowcase today at Eastwind. I was so excited because I really love the place (the way it looks) and wanted my dad to taste the food before we booked it (Im Italian). I have to say I was a little disappointed. The food was just so so (a little luke warm and not that tasty AND there wasn't that much to chose from). I am just a little nervous we still really like the place I am just afraid the food isn't going to be so great. I have heard nothing but great things about this place. Do you think it was just an 'off' day? Or was the whole point of today to showcase the vendors and not the food!!!

My MOH actually went to this showcase today bc she really liked eastwind and she said the exact same thing..she was disappointed as well..but then again I have heard mainly good things about east wind..I would go back and see if you can do another more private tasting..

I would definitely set up a private tasting. We looked at the bridal showcase, saw the Estate and met with John. THen before we signed, we had our tasting and it was great!!! Sorry to hear you had a bad experience at EW!! They really are great!!!!! At the showcases they usually just have the same things from their CH menu- so yes, call for a tasting!!

I would go to a tasting. The food they put up at a bridal showcase is very little and don't base your decision on that.

We booked the East Wind! My sister had her wedding there last year and we loved everything about it-including the food. It was probably as off day! I would def ask for a tasting. Call them and tell them the truth-see what they say! If you need any help-just FM me! I feel like I know everything about that place!

Thanks girls. I think I am setting up a meeting with John this week. He said we could do a tasting in the Restaurant and talk about things He is very nice and seems very accommodating.

the food at my wedding was superb! people are still talking about it! : ) (we are a big italian family too)
