im getting married in the northampton...i loooooove the bridal suite in the southampton room!!! but we went with north..im actually going home the nite of the wedding..we have a dog and a house and we are leaving early for hawaii the next day..

I know the bridal suite is insane! I love it!!
But I love the couryard that you have during cocktail hour...I almost got the North because of that!!!
Ohh...and we don't have a house yet...and our reception would end at 5:30pm so I am thinking about getting the suite.....

I'm also getting married at the East Wind, Northampton Ballroom. When my fiance and I started looking at halls, we had a choice between Southampton and Northampton, but we ending up choosing the Northampton side bc of the outside cocktail hour. (our wedding is in July). We were told that we could use the Southampton side staircase and area for photographs still. Every part of that place is gorgeous!!!

P.S. we are also staying in the Ambassador Suite the night of the wedding. If you're looking to book it for next year, BOOK EARLY! 4 weddings going on, and only 1 ambassador suite

When you book your wedding, they give you a complimentary hotel room. For like $300 you can upgrade to the ambassador suite if it is available. I think it's def. worth it, once in a lifetime, right?!

Welcome to the Boards! I am also a fellow EWind bride! I'm getting married at the estate. We are thinking of upgrading to the suite, but also want our guests to stay. If not, than we may block rooms at another (more affordable) hotel, and give our room to my parents.

The suite was booked for me too! You can be put on a waiting list though! If you upgrade to the junior suite from the traditional( which is what you get with booking) the junior suite has a queen size bed and the traditional has a king size bed!! I went with the king!!
