Easy Poll: Who do you...

Bank with...? with the mention of chase in another thread...i wonder where everybody goes for there bank. I personally hate going to the bank and do everything online or at an ATM where I work.

Bank of NY--I HATE it for so many reasons. I am looking to switch ASAP. The interest rates are so low, customer services rots, hours rot...And we got our mortgage through them and had so many problems it was ridiculous. So I think I am going to open checking at Chase and open savings through ING.

Bank of America (formerly Fleet)

I have no real qualms with Bank of America - good location near my home, good hours (open late on Thurs, Fri and on Saturday), good online banking system, nice people working there

Once I move further out east, there are less Bank of Americas out there, so that might be the only future downfall

I still use my Credit Union upstate. MHVFCU! Mid Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union That's exhausting to type!!! Anyway....they've been great to me. I've had an account with them since...well....before I was born! Even though it might seem inconvenient that they're upstate it isn't. I have direct deposit. I can do banking online or over the phone and if I need to go to the ATM I head over to WAMU...$0 in fees!!!

ETA: FH has an Astoria Federal acct. I HATE them! He's had SO MANY problems with them!!! If we open an acct together it will probably be at WAMU or MHVFCU.

I have citibank, I really like them I used to have Washington Mutual, but the way they debit your account if you use your ATM is a pain because if you use it as credit and not debit it takes an extra day, because of this there were a few times I thought I had more money than I actually did

Citibank has great online banking, which I , it deducts the payments right away so I never have to worry about balances or overdrafts, I was never good with a checkbook...good thing FH is or we'd be in trouble.

Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union!! I love them, just wish they had more locations!! DH and i both have accounts there!!

Washington Mutual... mortgage is with them and we have a platinum savings account with a higher interest rate. Also no ATM fees.

I also kept my BFCU account due to higher fees and better rates on loans if we need it.
