french fries of fast food?

I was reading the Dear Wendy's thread and someone commented about Wendy's fries. So it will be our easy poll for today

Arby's Seasoned Curly Fries...sooooo good. I stop every Friday on my way home from work and get some for the ride home!!

Do they still? I'm almost positive that in Europe they are still cooked in beef tallow but I thought that they adjusted their cooking method in this country after that news came out?

In any case, their fries do have lactose - so annoying.

According to their won website, ingredients:

French Fries:
Potatoes, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, natural flavor (beef, wheat and dairy sources), dextrose, sodium acid pyrophosphate (to preserve natural color). Cooked in partially hydrogenated vegetable oils (may contain partially hydrogenated soybean oil and/or partially hydrogenated corn oil and/or partially hydrogenated canola oil and/or cottonseed oil and/or sunflower oil and/or corn oil). Contains derivatives of wheat and dairy.

That's beef extract in the fries and they are cooked in the vegetable oils (still bad for vegetarians, vegans and people who practice certain religions). Beef tallow is no longer used in the cooking process in the US.
