i have never used ebay before so can you help me out when it says bidding 3 minutes left and bidding starts at 34 dollars for a 700 dollar gown what happens then? also what if you win the bid but change your mind???

If you win the auction you gotta buy it! Don't bid on anything that you don't want.
If there are only 3 minutes and no one else bids on it, you get it for 34 bucks!

...unless it says 'reserve not met' next to the price. Then the seller does not have to sell the item for under an undisclosed amount.

i ask myself about the 'reserve not met' all the time. it means that the buyer has a set price they are willing to sell for but will not tell you. sometimes i email the buyer and negotiate a price prior to bidding if it says 'reserve not met'.
