Ebay auction...the people who are selling everything

I posted this about a week or so ago. I've been watching tha auction and it is up to 8,000 dollars. It started at 6,000 dollars.

I can't believe someone would actually buy all of this stuff.

I'm sorry to sound mean but it's all junk and I think they bid on this themselves (view bid history) to jack up the price.

WHO would buy that stuff?! I guess one mans junk is another mans treasure.

Melissa I was LMAO when I saw the title of your post just now

I could see buying some of the stuff, but most of it is crap. Maybe if they didn't buy so much they wouldn't need to do this now.

Let's not pass judgment on people...

Its traumatic to be making $150+K...and spending...and then lose one income...not to mention two

who wouldn't spend moeny (granted it might not be your taste) if you had great salaries?

I agree that it is traumatic, but when you have kids (which it looks like they do based on their rooms), I think you have to prepare for something like that to happen, especially in today's economy.

If this is true, aren't they better off selling things individually - I mean if they need the money so bad!
What a scary thought - to have a lot and then nothing!

I can fully uderstand and sympathize with needing the money. I dont understand the lumping it all together and selling opened laundry detergent and spices. I would think selling things individually or in smaller groups would make more sense. And get rid of the food products (which they will continue to eat until the end of the auction) plus the reference to buying used underwear is just disgusting.

This is really strange. If they are used to really spending, $10-$15,000 is going to FLY out of their hands...it might just be worth keeping what they have! isnt that going to be on their 'what we need' list in no time ??
Makes no sense to me...

Re: Ebay auction...the people who are selling everything

according to the auction, they are going to live in their van near the river so they won't need any of this stuff. They are keeping their dog, truck and some clothing. But you're right, this is a radical lifestyle change!
