OK.....I checked my wedding cameras...they are reused (refurbished). I opened the box and saw the tape!! I used one of them and will continue to use it at my future sister-in-laws shower tomorrow to see how it works. QUESTION Should I open the plastic on them all and take a couple of pictures to make sure the flash/camera works or should I take a chance? I already bought 20 of them so I don't want to buy more. What should I do???

Re: EBAY Cameras
I tested one and it was fine (so far, I'll use the whole camera and get them developed) but should I open the rest and take like 1 or 2 pictures to see if they work?

Re: EBAY Cameras
All I can tell you is that my pictures from those cameras came out HORRIBLE! I would hate for the same thing to happen to you. They all came out dark, the flash didn't work on half of them and some were in such bad shape, they couldn't be developed at all. Yes I still have beautiful pictures from the photographer but I don't have pictures of my guests.

Re: EBAY Cameras
I know NOVEMBERBRIDE that you had a terrible experience. I'm hoping I'll have a better one. If the camera works at the BS tomorrow, I think I will open the rest and check out the flash. I must hope for the best because I can't go out and buy 20 more
I'll let you all know when I get the pictures back!!

Re: EBAY Cameras
Let me know too! I am going to use one camera at Thanksgiving and see how they come out. I am just worried that maybe I'll get a 'good' one in the bunch and that the rest will stink.

Re: EBAY Cameras
I agree. That's why I'll open the plastic on the rest and take one or two pictures (to see if it functions right and there is a flash). Then maybe I'll glue the boxes closed again. Does anyone know if taking them out of plastic will make them expire sooner or does it not matter?

I don't know if that would affect it. Maybe you can ask one or two people to bring a camera just in case these are no good. I wish I knew someone who had a digital camera. You know what those look like right after you take a picture and if you don't like it, you can take it again.Good luck. Let us know what happens.
