I just purchased 2 coach bags, each for $88.00, for one of my bridesmaids as she wanted them and did not have an ebay account to purchase. Needless to say, I come to get 3 e-mails from Ebay's management center and one from one of the sellers saying the bids are not legit. Turns out there is a Chinese theft ring that has just been relentless in hijacking into people's accounts. The bags are always at a low reserve and only have a buy it now option. All the bags she was looking at were listed as $88.00. I wanted to spread the word since this posting might save you the headache.

OMG!!! that's terrible!!!! i'm chinese and i gotta say there's so much stuff like that going on that i feel outright ashamed sometimes. back in hong kong, some folks in china were making baby formula out of talc powder and soy sauce out of hair. no joke!!! it's absolutely insane~ honestly don't know when these scammers are going to stop in china i'm so sorry that you had to go thru this experience!
edit: those china folks were shipping the baby formula and soy sauce into hong kong btw. that really p-o'ed me!!!!

Funny thing is that I received an email supposedly from ebay the other day stated that I haven t shippe dout a lap top that I sold to someone on ebay and that I woudl have to log onto my account and correct the problem...yea..I didnt fall for it..I was just someone trying to take my ebay screenname and password!! Be careful girls!!

That's crazy!!!! I got emails from people saying they are selling different stuff and it was all a scam! U have to be very careful on there!! so sorry that happened to you!!!!
