Is anyone planning their HM to Ecuador and Galapagos Islands?
Or have been there before? Do you know of any all-inclusive resorts?
Any pointers?

I would absolutely love to go to the Galapagos Islands. My boss went a couple of weeks ago and he said its amazing over there. Last week I saw this special on the Galapagos Islands and OMG, fantastic place. Its an untouched place, the animals are amazing, the water. http://galapagos.com/

I may be wrong, but arn't resorts not allowed on Galpagos? I think you have to take a boat there and then leave. Maybe try a cruise that goes there so food is included.

My husband is from Ecuador and I went there with him a few years ago..we stayed for 16 days!
We traveled to many great places while we were there, so any questions, let me know! We did not go to the Galapagos-but we would love to when we go back.
To give you an idea, We went to ... Quito-city- Riobamba- town-there is a great Marriot there-we stayed at a smaller place-I have to ask DH what the name was-it was so cheap and so nice! Salinas-beaches-lots of resorts/hotels there-ours was a condo type- I don't remember the name-Dh can tell me though Otavalo-town-outdoor markets-so fun Guayaquil- beaches-and small city
We went to other places- I just can't remember -I will ask DH when he gets home if you are interested!
It was a GREAT experience!

my FH is from Ecuador too... there is definitely a LOT to do there -- and galapagos is supposed to be AMAZING! i've never been there myself, but he went for 3 weeks this past summer and had an amazing time!
