Eeek. . .confession tonight!

I have to go for confession tonight!! This is something I am unfamiliar with. Being raised Lutheran, I never had to do it. But I will be converting to Orthodox in a couple of week (my FH is Greek Orthodox), and I need to go for confession tonight!

I need to come up with some things to confess!!

Ahhhhhhh I know this isn't nice to say but I have always strongly disliked confession!!

I prob will never go again my mom used to drag me

But I am 100% ok with going to church!

I find confession very uncomfrortable

I know I am an Active Catholic BUT i dont believe in Confession.. I dont do it...

I dont believe i have to TELL someone else my sins IF God can see them...


IF you go, You have to be REALLY SORRY for what u doing, dont just GO to Go....

Agreed.. . .i don't completely understand confession either. I think priests just want to know the bad things you do!!! Can't you just confess to God?

I confess to GOD... das it... I dont go to confess.. (i guess ill have to do it for the wedding but.. not bc i want to...)

Just tell the Father the SINS u have commited...

im not catholic, I'm christian though
we dont do confession, although I have confessed stuff to my pastors wife.... but it was for me to get it off my chest, not for her to tell me God forgives me ( i knew he did)

Sins are easy - we do it all the time- lol

here is a list of common sins, take your pick and confess away

lust - yes thinking of brad pitt naked counts

gluttony - too many chocolate chip cookies?

drunkness - self explanatory

cursing - we are suppose to have wholesome speech

unforgiveness - who you holding a grudge against
