i brought home some pizza and i didn't realize it was pepperoni and i had a bite and wondered why it was all spicy and now i feel sooooooooo guilty...i didn't mean to do. and to think, my grandmother has been having strong feelings that i might eat meat again. ugh!

I would die. How long have you been a vegetarian? I've been a vegetarian for about 15 years and I get so devastated when I go out to eat and meat (or some meat byproduct) winds up in my dish. I actually get violently ill if I actually taste/consume it. I feel your pain. Every time this happens to me, I swear I'll never eat out again unless it's a vegetarian restaurant, but I love eating out too much. I'm so sorry.

Just out of curiosity, how did you not see pepperoni though? Was it under the cheese?

i've been a vegetarian since i was 12 years old and so it has been a long time!!! and the pizza looked so regular...the pepperoni was under the cheese so i totally did not see it and believe me, i inspect everything and read every label...ugh.
