eek.. there is a mouse in the house!!

my fh and I were just finishing dinner and we were having a romantic moment... and then in the corner of my eye.... I see a mouse running down the fireplace!!!

Now after searching for over an hour, it is nowhere to be found!!! No droppings either.... anyone ever dealt with this? We don't want to call the exteminator right away. We were just going to get some traps and hope this was a fluke...
I am freaked out!!

also put steel wool under your stove and frig. mice sometimes come in threw there and they can't bite threw the steel wool.

We had a mouse problem last week. My sis saw him hiding under one of my nephews toy trucks and she ****** him up in the vacuum!!! Gotta love a dyson!
