EFFING DELTA..they wouldn't let me on the plane

because I was within a half hour of the flight!!

so now I have to wait till 9:30 to go!!

That really stinks Shana....I know from being in the business...the airline has the right to give your seat away and can refuse to let you on if you do not arrive ontime. The flight was probably getting ready to board when you got to the airport.

had nothing to do with security....thier customer service STINKS BUTT....

because there is construction at the airport and NO PARKING DH had to curbside drop me, but because we ended up within the half hour, they wouldn't make any adjustments for me. And THEN they tell me because I did online check in, I can't check my bag.....well ok, let me on the plane and send my bag on the later flight.

Can't do that because luggage can't travel alone....well then how does LOST LUGGAGE travel?????? HMMMM.....

and by then it was 15 minutes before the flight was to take off, and she said by the time I got to the gate, it would be too late. So hold the flight for me....you hold it for everyone else that is checked in but not on board.....

Now I have to shell out $25 to change the flight tonight. And I have to wait till 6:30pm to do a same day confirmation. You bet your butt I'm complaining, the LEAST they can do is waive the $25

thanks...I know it's partly my fault for running late, but we all know flights don't leave on time and they do hold flights if someone is checked in, but hasn't boarded yet.

That is totally ridiculous!!!!

You didn't play up the preggers angle???

This happened to me and my DH on the way to Mexico for a business trip of his! We were standing in line and by the time we got to the counter is was 3 minutes past check in time! YES 3 MINUTES!! They wouldn't let us board and we couldn't get our connecting flight to Los Cabos so we had to wait until the NEXT DAY and do it all over again. We WERE PISSED and EMBARASSED because all of his co-workers were there already. We were late due to the same reason as you....we had to drive around FOREVER because of construction and lack of parking in long term. AND we had to get up at 3:30am again the next day.

I feel for you
