ehhh kinda annoyed!!

ok so here is the story....i started looking at dj`s a few months ago and i was getting quotes for over 2000 and i didn`t want to spend that much. i went to FH`s best buds younger bros grad party and they had a dj there. one that i had already checked out. FHs best buds mom said oh thats too funny ya know i can give them to you guys as your gift from us for your wedding. (long story but she has a connection) well this was in june and we have asked several times what the deal is with that whole situation and we keep getting BS answers. well imo anyway....they tell us they are waiting for a package from them about available services. well i have already been there so i betcha i have that!!! we are getting tired of asking and it`s starting to feel rude, if they have changed their minds i think they should just step up and tell us!! now i don`t know what to do. i didn`t go to some of my appointments thinking i had my dj all figured out, do i call those people i planned on seeing and apologize or start looking at diffrent ones....i don`t have a huge budjet set aside for music but i need it all ceremony cocktail hour and reception (i`d prefer a 2 man group) what do you girls think i should do???

I think you should be honest, tell her that if she doesn't plan on hiring the dj for your wedding you have no problem hiring one for yourself but you really need to know so you can book one ASAP. If it's your FH's mom I think he should be the one to broach the situation.

it`s FH`s best friends mom. still IMO he should be making the call. i think i`ll make him take car of that this weekend so next weekend i can make some appointments!

i am using extreme sounds i am getting a dj and MC cocktail hour and reception ( lo lighting daytime wedding)

I would call FM Entertainment. I am getting coctail hour music and 2 man show with a basic light show for a very good amount of money.
