Eisenhower Park??

Did you ever hear of anyone taking pictures there for their wedding? I booked old westbury gardens but I am debating on whether or not to take pictures there bc of time. I was wondering if eisenhower park is a public park..and/or if you could or would take pictures there?

My friend was going to have her pictures taken there but the photographer suggested somewhere else because he said it would take too much time to walk around and find a spot.
I would talk to the photographer and others on here and ask where they had there pictures done.
I don't know where my friend had hers done. It was somewhere in Nassau County.

Thanks...I was thinking of somewhere close to chateau briand...other than old westbury gardens. Maybe somewhere I do not need to book (you know...a public place)

I know that many people hace taken pictures at the Planting Fields in Long Island. You do need a permit but I believe it is less expensive than the gardens.

Depending on where your church is in proximity to Chateau Briand, you might want to consider the small park/gazebo in Garden City, on Stewart Ave and Union (I think??) - it is east of the Garden City hotel - right on the other side of the street (which I think is called Union). It looks pretty and is free from what I've been told. Do not know if you would need any sort of permit.

I was in my cousins bp a few years back and she had pictures taken there.
I remember just getting out of the limo and taking the pictures a few feet away. I don't
know if she scouted the spot before the wedding or not.

the gazabo you are talking about is on Stewart Ave and Hilton.

There are a ton of brides there who take photos there - sometimes as many as three parties there at one time

I would think if you parked right by the lake and took pics there it wouldn't take too long.
