Eisenhower Park for fall pics?

anyone know of a spot to take pics there? It's been mentioned to me once or twice, and it's close enough to where I'm getting married. Thanks!

I don't know about Eisenhower park. but my friend's sister had her 10/31 pics taken at Hofstra and they were beautiful! Just something to keep in mind...

I was thinking the same thing!! I know by the pond would be nice. Except I don't know if the birds would be around by that point. They tend to poop all over the seats. They also have that Memorial Wall kind of a wall which is nice.
But there is also this mini park right by the Garden City Hotel. It is at the end of Stewart Ave coming from Roosevelt Field. That is the picture spot in the summers. THere is a gazebo and nice seats and a lot of greenery. Every weekend I see a bridal party there and on more than one occasion I see more than one couple!

I passed by EP and I do not know how many sections it has, but it seemed over grown in the section that was facing Old Country Road...am I mixing up my Parks here??? I am sure there are other areas, but you should call them up and see if there is an area for wedding photography!!

Hofstra? Never heard of that before! I've heard some brides go to CW Post, although the buildings are starting to look tired (I went there to look a few mths ago)

Hofstra does have beautiful buildings - I'd call their Security office (sorry, don't have # handy) and ask about permission or fees - I doubt it though.
As long as you go during daytime hrs, anyone can drive onto campus.

The South Campus is most beautiful, which is south of Hempstead tpke - North is just dorms and they're not too nice looking. There's the quad in the middle of the South Campus with nice big stone buildings surrounding the grass area, all covered in ivy.

Eisenhower is humongous!! It covers from hemp tpke to most of merrick from the pike to old country rd then woops around in the salisbury area and it keeps on going...
I live literally 2 minutes away from it and ride my bike (when I am not lazy) around it. Shamma the area you saw was the yucky unkept area. I have no idea why they don't...
Hofstra does sound like a nice place. When I have gone on campus no one says anything. And there are areas where you can walk on campus without needing a pass to get in. I believe that is the left hand side if you are coming from the east.
