Re: ej the dj
I met with them. they were pretty expensive. They were good and they had A LOT of lighting and other stuff they offered. this is also THE UNION band too... which we went to see and they were great too.
I saw some of the DVD's they gave us... and to be honest... they seemed more of a sweet 16 type of DJ company. At least from the DVD's we saw. So that combined with their prices.... made us pick another DJ.
But we were working with Judy.. and she was GREAT!! when you book an appt with them... they come to your house and meet with you. Then if you want the band they set you up for a night in the city to go see them play for free. Drinks are free too. it was a great night out.. and the band was great too... there were SO MANY band members too!! I think the band might have been better than the DJ... but I'm sure if the DJ was pricey... the band would have been INSANE!!!

Re: ej the dj
I worked for them for 6 years as a dancer, so we are using them. (Obviously).
They do a great party. All of the DJ's and MC's are really good.
For our wedding I DON'T want the emcee really on the microphone too much besides for announcements. Kind of ironic right!
Since they started they marketed mainly for bar/bat mitzvahs, which is why so many people know them from that.
They are building up the wedding business and trying to equal the amount of weddings they do with the amount of bar mitzvahs.
Go in for a meeting and see if you like it. I will say that when we went in as 'clients' (so weird, ha) I actually hated all of the videos they showed. BUT I know they do really amazing parties and I didn't think the emcee demos really showed that. JMO.
*Keep in mind I haven't done a party for them in about 4 years...but a lot of the people still work there from when I did.
