El Caribe

I'm headed to a Sweet 16 tonight at the beautiful El Caribe in Brooklyn tonight girls and it's gonna be a huge one - last i heard they were having close to 300 people! so it's basically a wedding lol Anyway if there's anyone that wants me to look out for something in particular let me know...i'll post a mini review on Monday

El Caribe is AMAZING!

My dad wanted me to have our wedding there, but the location wouldn't be convenient for everyone (most people live on LI and the church is there).

I have been to some high end fundraisers there and its amazing - the cocktail hour is to die for!

haha that would be me!!! please tell us all about it! me and FH went there sat nite to do the contract ns they gave us a LOT of food from the CH to taste and it was awesomee!! I'd love to hear how a whole party went...if youre all abut food (like me lol) then def check it out there!!

As promised here is the mini-review girls...
First off I have to say that El Caribe is really a beautiful venue - when you walk in the lobby you instantly realize that this place is all about elegance. When we walked into the cocktail hour room I was amazed. The room is beautiful and HUGE. There were approximately 250 people in that room but I couldn't tell because it was really so spacious. Now on to the food - unbelievable! I ate so much during the cocktail hour that I couldn't really eat the rest of the night. The fried calamari were my favorite - absoultely delicious! I tasted a lil bit of everything just to get an idea and I have to admit that everything was outstanding. My parents and fiance` agreed - the food is really top notch. Anyone getting married here should have no worries or doubts - the food and service were excellent. The reception ended with the Venetian Hour - they had ice cream, cotton candy, pretzel machine etc. Bascially the El Caribe gets an A+ for food, service and decor and I'm sure all the 2007 wedding there will be outstanding!
