New 08 Bride here and we have been looking around for a hall. We really loved the El Caribe in Brooklyn.....has anyone had their wedding there or have gone to one there? Just wanted to know some feedback on the place....Thanxxxxxx

I have been to some fundraisers there - which had all out cocktail hour (which is AMAZING there) through sit down dinner and dancing.
It's a wonderful place; beautiful inside and the food is delicious!
El Caribe was my first choice and is AMAZING. The only reason that I didn't go there was the distance. My sister has two kids under two coming. Otherwise I would be there.

Thats where I'm getting married!!!! I love it there....theres soooo much GOOD italian food (very very important for both our families) & they are so nice there and the place is beautiful! me and FH signed the contracts a few weeks ago and they gave us all this food to taste, it was delicious!! lol Good luck searching, but I think El caribe is a great choice! <3

mnm52607 is getting married there also. dh and i have been there before. it is delicious = great ambiance, similar to russos. u will not be disappointed!!!

I'm getting married there in February....my brother got married there as well and we didn't hear one complaint the whole night...from a large italian family, that's a rarity. Great food, Awesome staff, you won't be disappointed. Well worth the money

I have never been but FMIL has and apparently FFIL mentioned he's been to many functions there. I only hear good things and that its very similar to russos.

FH's cousin got married at El Caribe! The food is amazing! Atmosphere is beautiful! I loved everything about it. Probably the best wedding I have ever been to! Good Luck!!

I am getting married there. And my cousin got married there a few years ago. The place has the most amazing food. That is why FH (oops, I almost wrote DH LOL) wanted to have it there. He loves all the seafood and stuff. That place was giving us the most for our money.
Everytime I tell people I am getting married there, they compliment me on the place. I haven't heard anything bad about it. And I hope I don't

I am a 3 minute walk from there! I have been to 4 weddings! love it! the only reason why we are not getting married there is because all of our friends have and we wanted something different!
