El Caribe brides

Ok I know theres a few of you on here...My friend is going to start looking at halls very soon but she is not sure whether she wants it in staten Island(where she lives) New Jersey or i suggested brooklyn to her today. I mentioned El caribe because i have heard great things about it, and its not a bad drive from staten island and its also not bad for all of us in queens(where she grew up)...she said she will consider it, but i dont want to send her somewhere and it not being what she is looking for.

So if you don't mind sharing prices and minimum requirements with me, id really appreciate it...if you don't want to post it in here just FM me. TIA

our wedding isnt really big, so the #'s may be different of course... for a May wedding on a sat nite we have a 150 person guarantee at $205/pp......including everything (CH, VH, chair covers, etc.) and the food is amazingggg which is really important, especially if she has a traditional italian family (like me & u lol)
i kno if we wanted to add on the extra seafood package (which is lobster stations and stuff) it wouldve been another $30/pp (im pretty sure...)
let her know that the inside is beautiful but there isnt much grounds for pics, thats why we are taking our pics in manhattan....so it depends what she is looking for...the food mattered to me more then the outside lol.....tell her good luck!

Thank you, I'll send it to her...She is still not sure if she wants to do brooklyn, she is going to check out two places in staten island and also the shadowbrook in jersey, ive seen pics of the shadowbrook and it is real nice and the grounds are beautiful...but want to give her choices, so ill show her this

Well I don't know if she has a specific look yet, she does want a smaller wedding so thats the only thing, gotta see what the minimums are. If there is a place she likes alot then she'll consider brooklyn but otherwise she'll stick to staten island or new jersey. Ill tell her about it though

I went to a wedding at nicotras in staten island...it was a beautiful place and the food was good.

the room we were in had huge glass windows that looked into the forest and the trees were lit up. It gave the room a very romantic look.

yeah so its probably too big for her.

Oooo that actually sounds more like something she would want...she also wants either september or december but leaning more towards december bc shes thinking of doing a winter wonderland wedding so i think thats what she will end up doing. Ill tell her about that place in staten island...thank you

OMG that Nicotras would be PERFECT!!!
it would look like a winter wonderland!

and a plus is that the room had plasma screens already! all the dj had to do was hook it up!

We were there this past november...it is in a hotel ( hilton? ) so it was great...we stayed and had brunch the next day.

i dont know much about SI but if she is considering NJ, i went to a communion last weekend at this place Seasons in washington township and it was really nice!! HTH

I am getting excited to help her, i am done with all the major vendors and its exciting to help someone through the beginning process

Theres a really beautiful place on Staten Island called Excelsior Grand..Tell her to go there! Its beautiful and the food is excellent!
