Has anyone been to a wedding at El Caribe and Russo's? These are my two choices and Im tossed. Ive never been to a wedding at El Caribe but I have been to Russo's. I keep hearing that they are very similiar. What do u think?

I ve only been to Russo's and I thought the food was amazing!
I think an 08 bride got married there a few weeks ago. ETA at El Caribe

I grew up right around the El Caribe. I went to my senior prom at Russos. Both have great reputations -- you should check both out and make your own opinion.

I have been to many affairs at Russos before- they really do a beautiful job- although I have never been to El Caribe for a weddings- I liked it better. I liked the fact that it wasnt on a street, you had to drive into the parking lot and I was blown away by the menu...They seemed a bit more accomodating then Russos was when I was looking at packages.

I've never been to or heard of El Caribe so of course my vote is for Russo's. I've been to a few weddings at Russo's and thought the place was great and the food was excellent. It has a great reputation. So I'd pick Russo's.

Ive been to El Caribe and agree with Christine I like that its set back from the street...I think in many ways they are similar both great places....ahh its hard to pick!

I've only been to Russo's.....and all i can say was that it was PHENOMENAL. i've never been to El Caribe, so i have no idea how it holds up, but Russo's was amazing. good luck!

I had my jr. high prom at El Caribe and I was in a wedding at Russo's, personally they are about the same in opinion, plus they aren't too far away from each other.

I know a lot of brides on here had their weddings on Russo but I think only because there are more long island brides on here. The brides however who had their wedding at El Caribe were all great reviews. Do a search, it will help.

The El Caribe is fantastic!! (I am a fan!) I have gone to a lot of weddings there and one of my best friends is getting married there this year. I am from that area, so I am all for it. Russo's I hear is equally great....the only difference I think is that the El Caribe is not on the main street - you drive into it. They are also doing renovations to the place so I am sure it is going to look great!!

El Caribe from what I hear is better than Russo's. I have been to Russo's soooo many times and don't get me wrong the food is great, but I think El Caribe does weddings better. I hear they give you breakfast and a newspaper with the bride and grooms announcement out to the guests.

El Caribe! They give you so much food. My sister got married there- they did an amazing job.
