El Conquistador, San Juan?

Has anyone stayed at the El COnquistador in San Juan, Puerto Rico? Our tavel agent suggested we go there for a couple of days on our way to St Lucia...any info on the resort, or San Juan would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

San Juan Hotels

I went to San Juan this past June!! I would recommend The El San Juan hotel or the Marriot in Condado (a section of San Juan). Then,if you don't mind traveling a little further, there are the Hyatts - i heard they are amazing!!! We are going to St. Lucia and have a ly over in San Juan too!!!!

El Conquistador, San Juan?

I think we're staying there for the last 2 nights of our honeymoon after our cruise (see below post). I'll let you know all about it!! We'll be back Jan 1. I hear it's wonderful - my parents were there for their honeymoon too 33 years ago, and so were my future inlaws!!

Marriott, San Juan?

We stayed at the Marriot in San Juan 3 years ago and it was beautiful. The hotel had a mini casino, the food and pool were great.

El Conquistador, San Juan?

Chrissy I have stayed at a few places in Puerto Rico and The Conquistidor is by far the nicest. The service and amentities are first rate all the way. THey have an excellent spa and restaurants. It is a little bit of a ride from San Juan (about 45 min - hour if I remember correctly) but well worth it! Enjoy! Sam
