maybe it's b/c the majority of brides on here lack elegance in their lives, whether it be b/c theirs probs at home or stress at work or stress with school - so the one time that they get to have everything just so perfect for them they choose to have an 'elegant' wedding.
Please stop with the negativity about certain types of weddings on a wedding website. Please. You don't realize how your comments make people feel.

it had nothing to do with people on here
i meant like on all the wedding shows on TV and when you read in magazines..I just is funny how that's the most commonly used word..MY WEDDING IS ELEGANT..

don't want to speak for anyone else, but i don't think she meant it to offend anyone who is having a beautiful wedding. i think she just meant that she is sick of it HEARING that word being used so much.
just from reading her posts on here, i don't think she's the type of person to say anything to hurt anyone's feelings. i think all of our weddings are going to be 'elegant'. but i guess she just thought it was funny that everyone always uses that to describe every aspect of a wedding.
i think this could have all been avoided if vendors would buy a thesaurus!!

no...that's what this board is for...so that brides can share opinions. the only down-side is that when something is in print, you can't hear the tone it was meant to be in...so things can get taken the wrong way.
don't let it spoil your fun on here though!!
