Elem. teachers I need a little help PLEEEEZE

Hi. One of my projects for my graduate ELA class is an interactive book report. It has to be either grade 3,4 or 5. Not being in a classroom really limits my resources so I turned to the best source I know....You guys

I'm looking for a book that is fun and can have a lot of interactive things to do. We have to include at least 5 interactive things to do. Flip-chutes, geoboards, floor mats (games) along with word searches, crossword puzzles, etc. I am not creative at all so this is going to be pretty difficult . I figure before I start worrying about the creative stuff I need to find a great book.

edited to say: a chapter book will help most:)

For 3rd graders, how about Charlottes Web? I know a lot of teachers who use this book for a lot of different activities.

3rd grade

Boxcar Children series...LL Weans sells an activity book for this series...

also

4th grade Sarah Plain and TAll..another LLweans activity book

Grade 2 Flat Stanley..I think LL Weans has something also
