I have had my class have penpals the last two years and it almost becomes a chore for them to write... I am not sure if they would have much in common with 3rd graders... maybe we could get a bunch of teachers on here and start our own penpal network :) LOL... but there is a website that does have something... I think theteacherscorner... or something like that

I am fourth and might be interested in pen pals. I was going to do it last year but it's hard in fourth w all the test prep, not to mention reading and writing workshop (yes girls, I hear the groans...)

I taught fourth grade for a year-- I know your pain! BUT, I have to say, it is my FAVORITE grade to teach!!!

I taught fourth for 4 years and loved it as well. Call me sick but I enjoy the pressure of all the tests. It is going to be a big change teaching 5th this year. I would love to do pen pals with someone so if you want to give it a try FM me
