Hi! And congrats I am having an October wedding also. When is yours? I was just wondering if you could send me info on Elena. It might be too late but I am looking for someone to do hair and makeup! Thanks!

My wedding is October 6th. I have not met with Elena yet -- I go August 7th for my trial -- but everyone on this board raves about her . Her phone 3 is - 516- 484-8473. She seems very nice.

I am getting married Nov.2002 and called her the other day (because everyone just loves her on the board). She was SO nice and really helpful. I don't have to meet with her until Sept/Oct to discuss everything because my wedding is over 1 year away. She told me that she does your hair/makeup and then stays with you until the first dance is over. She comes for your photo shot and touches up your make-up to work best with the lighting the photographer is using, she also does a final touch up after the first dance and bustles your dress for you. It cost $275.00 for the bride, $80.00 for any of the other girls. Seems well worth the money.
