We are about 99% sure that we are going to stay at the Borgata in AC. It looks SO nice there!!! We are planning on going for 2 nights...most likely Thursday and Friday night (instead of Saturday) to help cut costs a little. Is two nights enough?? We have both been so busy lately but we will probably be booking within the next couple of weeks.
We're SO excited because we didn't think we were going to go away anywhere. So a little getaway will be really nice and we're really looking forward to it. Thank you for asking!![]()

The Borgata is BEAUTIFUL, it's our favorite hotel in AC. We do a lot of those mini vacays, because for the last 4 years one or both of us have been in law school so we couldn't afford big, long getaways money or time wise.
2 nights is good for the winter I think, because there IS less to do, espcially if you're not there Sat and Sun. Check out the comedy show Thu night, it's usually pretty decent. Have fun!
In January our fave restaurants are usually closed for 'deplaning' but if you can get in to eat at Ombra, do it! It's a wine cellar-Italian restaurant, fantastic, we always have a good meal and good service there.
I might have given you this info already, but it can't hurt![]()
And if you go to the food court to the pizza place, you can visit the spot where I passed out on the floor in front of the cashier the second time we went, lol. Turns out I had a fever and strep throat, lol, poor FH.
Def FM me as it gets closer if you need suggestions. WE go down there to get away and stay in a nice hotel, but we're not big gamblers, so we're always trying to keep busy without spending too much time gambling. Have fun!

o0o that sounds fun!!! My friend always talks about how much she loves the Borgata and the Asian restaurant in there! Did you ever end up coming down to Philly for the Terror Behind the Walls or whatever its called?

No we didn't. We really wanted to but with midterms around the same time as Halloween we never ended up going.
We figure that for our little getaway we should just wait until we're both on a break from school so that school can't interfere!

My brother has gone a few times to Salem and he says that it is so much fun! Also, a friend of mine went this past october and she said that it was great!!
I am done with grad school May 2010. I CAN'T WAIT!!!
