Elsa Jewelers

Elsa Jewelers

I'm crashing because I think you girls may be able to help me a little more since you are closer to your actual wedding....

Ok soooo I don't think you can tell from the pictures in my album, but the setting of my engagement ring is very different. People always think it is two separate rings when they see it because it is very high and has diamonds on the inner sides(front and back) as well as on the actual band. Too confusing to explain, I will just have to take a picture. ANYWAYYYYY,

I have a feeling I am going to have to get something custom made. Can anyone tell me about their experience with Elsa as well as their pricing. Are they very expensive?? Would you recommend someone else?

Just be prepared for non-stop calls and emails from them. They will call and email a few times a week with different numbers---some private. I wanted to make an appointment with them but their stalking behavior turned me off. I'm sure they do beautiful work but I just couldn't take it anymore.

I can't recommend anyone but I did consider a custom ring and I met with Elsa. She was really really nice and professional and knew exactly what I was looking for...unfortunately it was over my budget...even after she found ways of lowering the cost for me. If

I had the same problem because I have a pear shaped e-ring and nothing sat flush with it and I didn't like the look of a gap. I didn't want a contour band because I want the option of wearing the band alone.

I found my wedding band at Na Hoku and it was totally unexpected. I don't even think it's a technical 'wedding' band, but my pear sits beautifully in it. It's like this but white gold and the diamonds are across both parts. It was probably less expensive that other bands because it wasn't considered 'wedding'...but that's just what I think.

My opinion would be to look around A LOT. Be open to looking at non traditional rings and don't feel rushed. Mine was purchased 4 months before my wedding.

Good luck and happy shopping!!

I've heard that from so many other LIW ladies and it was the total opposite with me. I'm surprised because I had every intention of purchasing from Elsa until I found my ring.

We got our wedding bands from Elsa and I really didnt have problems with them. We told them what we wanted and what our budget was and they were able to do what we wanted. I didnt get a lot of phone calls or emails from them or anything like others did. However, one thing I didn't expect at our first meeting which I think you should know is that they want you to make a decision that day whether or not you want to get your ring from them which I thought was weird.... but I also didn't mind b/c I had gone to so many places at that point and didnt like their rings so I knew I was set on Elsa. Our rings are beautiful and exactly what we wanted and it was also cool to see the whole process being done (they do a wax molding, show you the diamonds, etc.). HTH

I got my wedding band from them because I was having trouble finding a band that would sit flush to my engagement ring. They were helpful but I'm pretty sure overpriced. Also, they stamp ELSA inside of your ring...I really hated that. It's MY ring now, not Elsa's!

Ohhhhhhh wow!! Thanks for sharing your experiences girls!!! I would not work well with people who say one thing and then change their story. Not cool. They seemed so nice at the bridal showcase, but I don't know if I would even want to try.

like I said (ps- edited due to lurkers).. some people like them, some don't. I personally am not happy with our experience.

but if you need a custom ring, I don't know anyone else that does them.

make an appointment, sit down with them and get a feel for them on a personal level.
I'll be honest, when we booked with them FH and I both walked out feeling weird. I know someone else who was SO happy with everything they did. just go with your gut.
