Elsas :(

I just got back from Elsas and I just wanted to say that John and I were not pleased.

I have seen their work on here and was very excited to meet with them since I need a custom wedding band made.

We felt as if we were completely disrespected. They looked at us as we were young and had no money and basically shooed me away. they were looking at my ring and basically when we said we wanted to talk about it and get back to them, handed me back the ring like f-you please leave.

we couldnt belive how we were treated. And Like I said they do beautiful work but the way they go about things arent great

they couldnt give us a round about price and when we asked they looked at us like we were crazy. he said all I can tell u is they it could be from 1,000-20,000 and cant tell you until the mold is made?
After you sign a contract? I have never heard of signing a contract for somthing u dont know what the price will be eventually.

I am so upset right now and so is John....I hope I can find someone who can make me a ring to match my Ering :(

why don't you go down to the dimond district they are great there... if you need names fm me i will give you the name of a guy really nice and reasonable you can kinda talk them down

I'm sorry. I'm sure you will find a great place! I know Tri County has a lot of great jewelers upstairs. I worked with Nalleh Jewlers for my engagement ring and he custom made it for me and I am very happy with it!

Gorgeous Diamonds in Massapequa (by Staples and Toys R Us) do custom stuff. They did my e-ring!

I didnt go to their showroom but i have seen them at the expos and i avoid them like the plague!!! I signed up for a 'contest' yeah right i signed up and i was called 3 times a day for 2 weeks straight!!! I had to tell them the wedding was off so they would leave me alone. thn i saw them at another expo and elsa shook my hand and i was trying to walk away....she kept pulling me back to her booth finally i got my hand free and said ' you already have my info ' omg they are sooooo annoying!!!!!

elsa's is known for making custom wedding bands but they certainly are not the only ones that do it! I went to tri county and everyone was willing to work with me and the prices were really good because there is so much competition. You can even bargain with them, it is fun!

i agree !! i love haggling back and forth to see how low they will go. Sometimes i even start to walk away and the lower the price more lol!

thats too bad. I cant believe you were disrespected like that!

For all they knew...you had 2k in cash right then and there.....and you woudl have gone back to rave to all your fellow brides....

they lost out on a good thing! BUt they dont deserve you as a customer.

Id go to tri county. even tho ive never been there..its soooooo widely talked about on every board!

wow im so sorry! I've always heard good things..but that sounds just plain rude! you don't deserve to be treated like that...what about the diamond district?? they im sure have plenty of stores who can make bands custom made..
