Email from FBIL about his wedding

'We wanted to convey a quick program note to our female wedding guests... something you may want to consider when picking out shoes to wear the evening of our wedding…

The wedding ceremony itself will be outside. Guests will be standing on a grassy incline for about 30 minutes. (20 mins for the ceremony, 10 mins for toasts)

Just something we thought you might want to know.'

I can't wait to stand for 30 minutes - guess I need to find something I can wear with sneakers???? I told FH to make his speech QUICK so we're not standing for too long.He said that shouldn't be an issue since he has nothing to say about someone he has only met once who was dressed like Octo-mom and drunk (it was Halloween).

I know you're not too fond of him (those are words I use very loosely about this guy) but I actually think that the heads-up is cool of them.

I'd personally just take off my shoes and stand in the grass.

Or you can get some cheap (like 2 dolla) Chinese slippers or flip flops...wear 'em to the ceremony and then just chuck them in the trash when it's time for the party.

Or...you could be really evil...and pray for rain and do a rain dance............................heeheeheeheeheeheehee.

It would have been cool if he sent ME the email. I found out from one of FH's friends GFs who asked me what I was wearing.

Normally I would pray for rain but there is no back up plan (it's at her parent's house) so I'll be kicking myself when I'm standing on a muddy hill in the pouring rain!!! LOL!!
