Email from potential vendor... REALLY??

Doesn't anyone care about spelling anymore? I emailed someone about a quote ( I don't want to mention who), and below are some words that they used....

wedd'g
dropp'd
talk'g
w/be
p/u
d/o
w/you
wedd'g

I would not even consider that vendor for the mere fact that they cannot take the time out to write me with complete sentences. lol

i had someone like that too but not quite that bad ... i didn't contact her back.

here are my guesses as to what everything means

wedd'g = wedding
dropp'd = dropped
talk'g = talking
w/be = would be
p/u = pick up ?
d/o = do over ?
w/you = with you

Ahhh w/be was throwing me off.

I think d/o is drop off.

I am def. not going to be calling them to discuss further... I want a comany that can at least TRY to spell. Never in my life have I seen the use of the ' ' ' in these words!

It is absolutely appalling how badly some people spell and use grammar.

My younger brother, he's 13, sends me text messages and emails which are often times indecipherable. I have told him on a number of occasions that if he can't use proper English I refuse to speak to him over any form of technology.

And that's just my brother!

I would not take a vendor seriously if they were to send me an email like that. They are supposed to be business men and women and that implies being professional. Short hand like that, to me, is something that should be saved for friends or notes to yourself!

MY favorite is dropped.... cause it's the same amount of characters as it would have been to spell it correctly...

Maybe they were writing from a mobiel device? Which isn't a total excuse, but is a little more understandable to forget proper spelling and grammar. That' so unprofessional though. Especially if the person isn't a client yet, just a potential client. Annoying.
