Both sets of parents have a few straggler people they want to invite.
What do you think about emailing the extra people invitations vs just verbally inviting them?
I personally don't want to invite them at all~!!!!!! They are people who kind of invited themselves and our parents are too nice to say no. My parents don't think of it as rude on the guest's side. They think it was rude of them not to have invited them in the first place.
Which is the best of the 3 choices?
1. Verbal Invite and handed a direction card 2. Emailed invitation and directions 3. No invitation

Re: Emailing Invitations?
None of the above.
I'd go buy a cheap-o set of do-it-yourself invites and mail those. Just plain off-white or something.
ETA - Did you save a couple of invites for yourself / photos?!

Re: Emailing Invitations?
If you do that these people will know that they were not on the original invite list. If that doesn't bother you or your parents then I think its fine. The other alternative would be to get cheap invitations printed up quickly and mail those.

Re: Emailing Invitations?
We spent soooooooooooooooo much time, energy, and money ordering our invitations.
I can't imagine sending a plain white one.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I don't know who I am irritated at but I'm irritated.
Some of FH's parents' guests said they 'lost' their invitation and want another one. WTH?!?!?!??

Re: Emailing Invitations?
I understand that you put a lot of time, money, and energy into invites, but sending a printed invited at all is MUCH better than a verbal or emailed one.
To those who lost it and want another - say you ran out. It's true.
If you want to invite more people, though, I'd never do it verbally or over email. JMHO.

I saved ONE!
I'm considering mailing that one though. Sigh...

Re: Emailing Invitations?
I know from y our past post that you had some issues with Pippys Sweets but she can probably print out a few more invites for you from her computer in no time. I am sure she has all of templates saved, etc. and has paper on hand. That might be the easiest route to take????

Re: Emailing Invitations?
honestly, if someone got an invitation and LOST it, that's their tough luck. as for people who never got one to begin with, i'd print one out on plain invitation paper.
