Embarrasing SuzBride story of the day

Actually this is from last week, but I forgot to share.

So I am sitting at work doing work and the phone rings. We have caller ID so it pops up DH's cellphone. Being the comic genius that I am () I decide it would be HYSTERICAL if I pretend to be a guy by using my stellar 'guy voice' - to throw DH off! (Yes it is sad, but work is boring!).......

so I execute the man voice and anticipate a laughing DH or even a perplexed DH (if I do it well enough) and what do I get? what do I get?

MIL She called to tell me that DH had brought over some leftovers I made from the night before and they were really good and she had me on speakerphone



From now on I will think twice before pulling out the man voice

This is true. But the long pause before she said anything was pretty awkward

DH ALWAYS talks on speakerphone and I can never figure out how to turn it off. I hate it. And he wonders why I refuse to answer the phone at our apartment
