Embarrassing question...

Embarrassing question...

Ok I have an embarrassing question to ask...

I have sideburns that I can't stand. I know they aren't horrible but to me I feel like I have mutton chops on my face! I have tried bleaching, tweezing and when I was young and stupid I shaved them! (terrible idea..)

I would love to get laser hair removald one but I am not sure if that is even an option. Do they do it for sideburns? I also don't know how much it costs and where to look to get it done. Any help would be greawtly appreciated. I know I will hate my wedding pics if I dont do somethign!

Re: Embarrassing question...

I think they can do it anywhere on the body. I wish I knew someone who has done it, I am curious if there is any skin discoloration? If not I am definitely looking into that!!

Re: Embarrassing question...

I have that too... I just take one of those facial hair electric razor type thing (like the thing the old guys use for the ear and nose hairs) and go to work on the sides.... Makes me wonder though if its possible to use threading on that area... bc i used to use the razor thing for the upper lip before i started threading it

I know somebody who had that done for sideburns. They would definitely do it on that.

You can try waxing or using Nair. They make a Nair for the face.

Re: Embarrassing question...

Go to Soft Touch Laser in Syosset. They are having a 1/2 price sale. Bob makes you feel completely comfortable about your unwanted hair. If you get the 1/2 price, it is like 106 bucks per visit. Usually in 4-5 sessions, you can remove all of the hair for that area. You will start to notice improvement in the 2nd or 3rd session. HTH!!! FM me for more info! =)

The best candidates are people with dark hair and light skin. If you have dark/olive skin, you could get discoloration. I think Bob said that Blondes don't get discoloration, but the treatment isn't as effective.

Re: Embarrassing question...

Also...I'm not sure if you are talking about sideburns or the peach fuzz that is near your sideburns. If you are talking about the actual sideburns themselves, I usually take this hair wax to slick it behind my ears if I am wearing my hair up for the day (or for 'fly aways' on top of my head).
