embarrassing questions...

i have a semi embarrassing ? so i figure there has to be more like me out there so why not ask the here!!

ok anyway.. when i was in kindergarten i had alopecia areota (which is bald spots) from stress.. anyway i got medication and have never had a problem with my hair or scalp since... well as i get older my skin is getting very dry.. not so much on my face but my hands and legs and now all of a sudden my scalp... i have bad dandriff but its only on my hair line which is so embarrassing cuz its right in front and especially when i have my bangs down cuz the part has all dry skin... ive tried head and shoulders and selsen blue and even that T-gel stuff.. the T-gel seems to work the best but it just dries out my hair... so i use that with the expensive Matrix shampoo for either straight or curly hair which ever way i plan on wearing it that day... so with that said..

Does anyone else have this problem or had this problem and have any suggestions?

I get bad dandroff from product build up. I have curly hair and it gets very dry so I have to use heavy shampoos and conditioners with many products to style which leaves build up. Now I use nizerol shampoo for dandroff and heavy back to basics conditioner.

thanks girls... i agree im so glad i dont have the alopecia any more.. id rahter just cover up the dandriff... its only some days its so strange.. maybe ill hit up the dermatologist and see what they can do for me!

thats what i thought it was coming from i too have very curly hair.. but when i blow dry it straigh i dont use any product so it cant be the build up theory
