I want to make an embroidered hoodie for my flowergirl as part of her 'Will you be my.....'. Can anyone recommend where I can get stuff to sewn on the hoodie myself or a store where I can get it embroidered?

I'm in Brooklyn and went to a place near by - it was about $20. However, if you're on the island, there are plenty of places that do embroidery.

usually most malls will have an embroidery store or kiosk (sp). they usually run about $20.

I live in Queens but FH lives in Woodbury so Hicksville is close by.

Its in the shopping center next to Volkswagen on Old Country Road. My sister gets her faternity stuff embrodered and I am doing the same thing you are. FM me if you need any other info, I drive opast it every day I can get the name and full address.

I used EmbroidMe on Route 111 in Smithtown. They have several locations on LI. Just google them.

there was a bride on here who posted her fh works at a place that does that..... i will try and find who she is to ask for you. other than that if you are diy try ac moore they have all those iron ons and things like that.

a new store called 'EmbroidMe' is opening up right across from there, next to Ralph Rottens. I'm not quite sure when they open, but they're the best! There'a location in Smithtown that I use for a lot of stuff!

I used EmbroidMe in Oceanside and I believe they only charged me $10 per item...I had a hoodie and 3 tanks!
But make sure you mark off where you want it embroidered b/c the stuff on the tanks that I wanted across the chest all came out across the stomach - I took them back though and they re-did free of charge.....but I should note I had to buy new tanks for them to re-do. Big headache!
