Emcee Poll

So I need some help..........We're trying to pick a DJ now. We have it narrowed down to 2. One of which is Vinny from High Voltage. Here's the dilemma.

We're debating weather or not we need an emcee. We know our family and friends are partiers and will get up and dance on their own. But we're scared that if we don't get the emcee, we'll regret it.

So for any brides who have already gotten married I could really use some advice. Emcee or not?

Im not married yet, but my FH works for a DJ company as a DJ and MC. You dont necessarily need an MC to get people up and dance, but it is nice because they do the grand introductions and announce when salads and dinner are out, ect. Also, they are out on the dance floor when they do announcements and the garter and stuff. My FH tells me all the time how he is coordinating the night with the MaiterD (spelling?) which is very hard to do as a solo job.

im not married yet but for our e-party we opted not to have an MC - big mistake!

the MC just lets people know whats going on - like when it is time to sit down and eat and all that stuff. Also the MC makes the introductions and all that stuff - i would definetly reccommend getting the MC
