Emotional rollercoaster- One ticket please! a lil long...a lil mushy

Here I am girls, on the eve of ONE MONTH to go...and exactly 11 years and 3 months from the night of our first 'real' date...

so much has happened over these years-so many times we thought maybe we wouldn't make it...it's so weird.

I've been looking around my apt, trying to figure out how to pack my life into a few boxes, and remembering all that has happened there over these last 11 years.

I hear people call me by my last name, and though I happily give it up, hearing it these last few times is so bittersweet.

for more that 1/3 of my life, I have been FH's girlfriend...I have said it before, and I will say it again...although WIFE is wonderful...I will always miss the days when I was his girl....

Change...even when only for the better...it's not easy...at least not for me...

Aww Jess, you'll always be his girl!! That's never gonna change!!

Makes me think of those old war movies where the soldiers have lil wallet pics of their girls, it's so sweet.

It is a huge adjustment, no matter how happy we are and how much we want it, it will not change the fact that our lives as we have known them will never be the same. Hang in there.
I spent the last month thinking, this will be the last time I do this and that and sign my name as this, etc. It wasn't that I was regretting getting married, I was just realizing how much I took for granted as a single person. But it is all good

Jess.. You will always be his girl! I know exactly how you feel. Getting married is SOOOO BIG! Besides the birth of our first child.. NOTHING will ever compare to our wedding day. All the planning.. all the dreams.. all the apirations we have will all come down to this one day. Savor this last month as a 'single girl' because your life will change.... FOR THE BETTER!

I wish you only the best.. A wonderful marriage.. healthy children and all the happiness in the world.

Aww honey, I know how you feel. FI and I have been together almost 8 years now even though I am looking forward to being married, it is weird to be someone's 'wife'. Enjoy and cherish these last days before your wedding, and know that the best is really yet to come.

I know exactly how you feel sweeite. It's only natural to feel that way, this is a huge step in your life. You will always be his 'girl' no matter what. You'll just have a different name for it.

Take a deep breath and remember he's your MAN!!!

You made me cry
I feel the same way
After all the wedding logisitcs, we sometimes ignore how our lives will be changed. We are brides for only a moment.

But we are moving toward good times, great times. We will always be their girls. We chose each other!!!!!!!

Awwww Jess!!!!! That is so incredibly sweet! I don't even know Leo, and I think that you will always be his girl!!!!! He seems like such a romantic and I can't believe that anything would change after you are happily married for years and years! (Even after you possibly have a little girl all your own!!!!!!!)

I have def been on the same roller coaster. I never thought about it, but it is bittersweet. I'm terrible at change, but rest assured, this change is for the better, and as HUGE as it is, I cannot wait to start the next chapter of Kris516.

Yes, change is always hard. But changes are needed in life. You will always remember the 'girlfriend' days, but you're ready to embark on your future life. And I'm sure it well get better and better. It's normal to be a little sad. I suspect I will do the same in the days leading up to my big day.

Change blows. I HATE it.... but just think of how happy it will be to finally be living what you've always dreamed about.

When people learn to accept change and are flexible, they grow and become better partners. You will always be his girl. DH and I were not together nearly as long s you and your FH but he still calls me his girlfriend and I find it sweet and flirty.

Jessica, you just gave me the chills!!!! It is so amazing how life changes so quickly!

I have only been with FH for 5 years, but as I was packing my room up last weekend, I could not believe how these last 5 years slipped away from me! I loved being my FH's 'girlfriend' but being his 'wife' is going to be 100 times better!!!

I am going through the bittersweet emotions as I realize I only have 5 more nights of sleeping at my parents & then I move on & live with my FH in our home!!!

It is a great time though!!
