I need a good gynocologist that works out of southside or good sam...i want someone caring and nice, im not happy with mine hes very cold....its hard to find niceone with empire, i dont want to try a hundres,,,any suggestions

My doc is Dr. Jaqueline Ammirata. She is out of Good Sam and her office is in West Islip on 27A. I can FM you her info when I get home.

BTW - Salvatore Leo is wonderful. He talks to you so you understand, not in DR talk. I used to see him but his daughter now works with him and I usually see her. Family run. Great people!

I used to go to South Bay OBGYN in West Islip they are excellent. I used to see Dr. Pallotta. Very nice man. Don't know if he takes empire but check them out.

According to the empire website, they do take that insurance.
To the original poster. go to Empireblue.com and run a search using the hospitals as the search criteria. I just ran it and it gave me the almost the same MDs for either hospital affiliation, but some of the Good Sam only MDs seem to have multiple offices.

I use Dr Eileen Pillitteri in Deer Park (just north of Nicolls Rd). 631-242-7444.... She's great. I have Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield....
ETA: I know about 4 other women who go to her - two have had children with her as OB/GYN.....
