Empire Records!!!!

Empire Records open till midnight
What time are you open till
MIDNIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, no fair!!!! No pop culture references!!! I don't know what anyone is talking about because I live beyond the loop!

ETA: Oops, just looked it up...1995!!!! Don't have any excuses now, I was living well within the loop then. I'm just a loo-sah like Wendy! (BTW I go to lots of things by myself, started off because I had to for work - lots and lots and lots of ballet! - but now I just like to)

Lucas: Warren, look at what you took... rap... metal... rap... metal... Whitney Houston.
Warren: It's for my girlfriend, alright?
Lucas: Sure it is.

I was a freshamn in college when I first saw it (also perpetually drunk) but I still remember it!

Actually one of my roommates made up a drinking game with it...so the movie and a 30 pack sort of went hand in hand!

Empire Records, open till Midnight. Midnight.
I made Jean watch so he 'd have a clue why I always said that when he asked me how late something wa sopened.

Wow, haven't seen it in a while. . .may need to rectify that.

I don't actually remember it coming out in theatres, but I saw it on video in college.

It's like its is all around you, I think it is a sign. You really need to see it

And it's even funnier because he brought it up becasue we saw Toby Maguire and DH said 'Did you know he was in Empire Records?' which again freaked me out and I was soooo convinced he had been lurking here!!! But I just looked on imdb.com and his scenes were deleted.

(Tim had said he saw his name in the credits, not that he saw him in the movie).

Whatever ... all weird!!!!!!!

BTW, Wendy, this means Tim was watchign WE when you werne't home. What a modern man.

Anyway, I didn't notice Toby Maguire in the credits. I was watching them , b/c AJ seemed familar & I couldn't place him.
I think he is just familiar from watching that movie too many times.

Too bad it's all about sportscenter when I'm home!!!

Yeah it pretty much stopped our productivity as well.
