I did both myself. I like doing makeup and I wanted my hair to look like it does everyday.

if you go to the salon at elizabeth arden- they do your make-up for free if you are a first time customer- diane is a whiz with updo's hth

i had both my hair and make up done at a salon, im horrible with these things...well hair im horrible, make up i can put on lol but regular no smokey eyes or anything to do with eyeshadow im horrible.

I wear blush, mascara and liner regularly but wanted something a bit different. But most importantly i was worried how i would come out in pics since the flash can wash you out you need to wear just a little more make up than normal

I think I will do mine myself. I would suggest getting one or both done only if you don't wear makeup everyday.

Both!!!!! I cant do makeup or hair on my own, I can just straighten it, lol. It looks sooo much better when someone else does it, lolol IMO

Our e-pics are tomorrow and I'm doing my own hair but getting my makeup done.

I had a pro do both because I found it difficult to gauge how much makeup to put on. The camera sheds a lot of the color. In person, I felt like I was wearing a TON of makeup, but you can barely see it in my pics.

Where are you taking the pics? If it's an outdoor place like the beach, you want to look natural. If it's more of a serious look you may want to get it done. How are you with putting makeup on? I have some friends that can't get eyeshadow on, let alone liner or mascara....I'm the go-to girl when they need it done lol I can defintely do my own makeup...as far as hair, if I do the beach or a park I'm doing it...that isn't a fancy enough place for me to think I need my hair done. Also, me getting my hair done is either an updo and blowout..and for our e-pics I'd want to keep it curly I think for a natural look...hmmm now I'm wondering what to do! lol

i did my hair and makeup myself (but mine wasnt a big deal shoot, a friend did it)...it was very last minute, i didnt even have my nails done... but i voted get them both dont, bc i wish that i had. unless you are good at that sort of thing. i am not.

I would get makeup done. no one can do makeup like a trained makeup artist. unless they are one. it makes a big difference in pictures.
