Hey girls! I'm comparing dates/prices, etc on two venues. One has a great price for the end of April 2013, but it's on the water and I can't decide how warm it will be. It's literally the last weekend of April, right before peak season in May. Usually I remember it being kind of chilly in April and I'd really like the ceremony and cocktail hour outside on the deck overlooking the water but not if everyone will freeze (or I will freeze haha!). Anyone have a better idea than me? Thanks!!

The price difference Btwn April and may was a huge deciding factor for us. We didn't want to sweat on our wedding day but also didn't want to freeze. We choose the last weekend in april. From memory April is beautiful this year, it rains in the beginning and clears up by the end. but that is my memory. And w this weather recently who knows if it will snow in June next year. I don't know if this helps, we saved a lot by going w a Sunday in April, and trust me it was a huge compromise as I would of loved to be a fall bride but at the end fo the day, as long as my teeth didn't chatter I was ok w it!

I am booked for the last Saturday in April. I am a lovin oven bride, and I know that lands end provides outdoor heaters for the exact reasons you mentioned. See if your hall can do the same.

Ohh great idea thank you! I know Westbury Manor provides heaters but I was also looking at the Riviera... I'm not sure if they do. Thanks!

Yes it's a huge difference in price! I think you are right that the end of April is when it really clears up and gets nice but you never really know. If it wasn't right on the water I wouldn't even care much but it can get pretty chilly there.

U never know with this weather. It could still be chilly at that time or we could get a heat wave lol. Look what happened in Oct, we got a snow storm! So if I were u I would just book. Save that $$!
