hey Mary! :) thanks for getting back to me, that was sweet of you to remember! :) i think i actually know what part you are talking about and that is a nice place! so they are more in the beach area, the city area! :) that is very far from where my family is from! we are from the north of Portugal, from the COUNTRY side! :)

Suzy, I don't know a lot about Portugal!!!!! How long did you live there? Did you attend school there, and what are their schools like? I'd like to hear anything you want to share!!! Mary MOB

no problem, i dont mind sharing my backround with you! :) i actually never lived there and i was not born there. as a little girl i would always go there every single summer with my parents and brother to spend the entire summer (2 months) over there. we have a house over there so wed make sure to get use of it! the first time i went there was when i was 7 months old and every single summer after that i was there! now of course i dont go every summer but at least every other summer i do go! i spent new years last year there with the FH and last summer we were there for a month almost and this summer we are not sure if we are going yet cause with the wedding and all, but next summer we are definately going! its awesome that the FH is also from portugal cause it makes it so much easier for me to be able to go there and see my family there as well his family! :) though its funny cause we are from 2 completely different places in portugal and costumes! hes from the south part of portugal and im from the north witch is like a 6 hour drive from his city to my town! :) so you had asked about the life there and schools.. that i cant really say cause i never went to school there, but i have lots of cousins who did and still do and from what i know from them they really like it and today its close to the same as us here! the life there is great i think! i love the summers there! they are more relaxed and free there and calmer! here we are more on the go and never stop to take a break! they are always on a break over there, lol! you know, the europe style living! :) i hope i gave enough info on that!
