Re: endometriosis
One of my best friends had endo and is pregnant now. She is in her 5th month and has been having the best pregnancy I have ever seen! She too was worried, but she hasnt had any pain at all! I dont know much else besides her experience.
Good Luck!

Re: endometriosis
my best friend had it REAL bad, had surgery to get rid of some of it...tried for 3 years to get PG with #1, she conceived #1 soon after, then when she was 10 months old the Dr told her if she was thinking of #2, to start soon, as the endo was starting to grow again (she had a second surgery!!). She got PG with him right away!

Re: endometriosis
I am not preggo, but have endo and have done TONS of research on it. I have had surgery and will probably be having it again in the next couple of months. From all of the doctors I spoke to the only way you will be infertile is if the endo tissue is blocking the tubes, if they are you can either have it cleaned out or have invitro. It won't take any longer to get preggo b/c of endo, you either will or you won't based on the tube blockage. As for pain, once you are preggo you won't get periods so you won't have that pain. But, when you come off all medication (pill, pain killers, anti imflammatory medecine, etc) to try and get preggo you will have a lot of pain if its bad.
ETA: I posted a question on this about a month or two back after I had to go to the ER b/c of horrible pains that they thought was a tubular pregnancy. Search if you want to see the replies I got.
FM me with any questions! I've been in some serious conversations with some specialists about the fertility and endo issue since DH and I will probably try within the next two years.

Re: endometriosis
Honestly, my friend tried for about 8 months. She was just about to give up when she became pregnant. I think it was that she finally relaxed and came to terms in her head that if it happens, great, if not, we will do what we have to. Once she relaxed and didnt stress too much about it, she got preggo and like I said, is having the best pregnancy ever (so far knock on wood).
Once again, good luck!

Re: endometriosis
I think that is what I have to do, just relax, I can't let this endo control my life and thoughts. I just have to let nautre take its course, calm down, and enjoy it

Re: endometriosis
My good friend tried for a few years and never got pregnant so she went back on the pill but recently with the hurricanes she was unable to get her pills and now she is pregnant without even trying. She is doing well with her pregnancy but she does have a cyst on our ovaries that is bothering her occasionally that the doc's are monitering.
